The Time Has Come!
Well, here we are! I leave in two days for Toronto... scary!! I can't believe how fast everything has happened. I leave to Winnipeg tomorrow morning and then sunday at 9:00, my flight leaves for the big T.O!
I moved home from clear lake yesterday afternoon. I drove the 1 1/2 hour drive and boy was I tired (not that it was a long drive, short sleep the night before). But things needed to be done so I sat down and started checking e-mails, working on my essay about EDUCATION IN CANADIAN SCHOOL SYSTEMS, etc... Also, I had to inform everyone about voting!! Because voting has officially started! So everyone don't forget to vote vote vote!
I tried to go to bed early last night but it was nearly impossible. So much to think about, so little time! So I set my alarm for 7:45 this morning in order to make it to my pedicure and gel appointment on time! Well... I pressed snooze a few too many times and woke up at 8:15 instead! The appointment was at 8:30 so I flew out of bed, threw the hair back, put on some sweats and headed to my long time best friend- Kristen's aesthetics shop!
I got my gel nails re done! they turned out excellent- always do!
I also got my toe nails painted- pedicure! Pedicures are amazing, especially Kristens! The give the best massages ever! You have no idea. (Ps. Sorry about the sideways photo, I didn't know how to flip it). Kristen gave me a french pedicure with a little bit of nail art, a little purple and yellow flower :) so cute!
Thank you to Kristen of Kristhetics for my many many sets of gel nails and everything else you've done for me! Also for just being there for me throughout the years!
After my manicure and pedicure, I went home to have a much needed nap! Once again, I set my alarm for a certain time and woke up... only fifteen minutes late this time :) **Don't worry pageant people, I'm normally on time, if not 15 minutes early!!**
After my much needed nap, I returned to the same building, only this time for a hair cut! Karma Hair Design and Kristhetics share a building- Kristethics is on the top floor. Anyways, I have gone to Janet, of Karma Hair Design for many many years because she is simply the best! Whatever I ask for done to my hair, Janet does! Today I got a trip and boy was it needed!
About 1 1/2 inches was taken off and my hair feels better already! If anyone happens to go through the small town of Russell and needs a hair cut, I highly recommend Janet Palamar. Wonderful lady! Easy to talk to and is one of the best hair artists I've been to!
After the hair appointment, I continued to get ready for T.O, packing was next on the agenda. Wow do we need a lot of stuff! In order to look good all of the time- takes a lot of clothes with alot of choices. Craaazy! I think the packing process should have been started a little earlier. Maybe moving home from the lake a two or three days ago would have been smart. OOPS! Clothes clothes and more clothes!
Since I've been so busy all day, I completely forgot to eat! So... after I did some packing, warmed up some much needed scrumptious chinese food from the Club Cafe in Russell so now here I am, updating this blog since I may not be able to update it until the first day at the pageant!! AAhh!!
are we? That's awsome!! And you bet haha that's my plan! Wearin the sash
I think were on the same flight! Michelle told me to wear out sashes cause we might get specail treatment lol
